
Vedanta introduces tech to build a productive, future-ready workplace

On Tuesday Vedanta Ltd implemented modern technological systems with AI-powered monitoring systems as well as drones and VR simulators for workplace safety and operation efficiency improvement. The company's facilities experience industrial safety revolution through innovative solutions that contain fatigue detection systems and tele-remote operations and smart helmets because these additions establish future-ready operations with modernized industrial standards.
Vedanta conducts an assessment of emerging AI-based technologies and Robotic devices and remote work systems to fetch value from their adoption while tackling new operational obstacles. "By leveraging AI, smart systems, and people-first leadership, we are not just responding to risks, we're anticipating and preventing them. Our commitment is to create workplaces that are not only productive, but deeply safe, healthy, and future-ready," a Vedanta Ltd spokesperson stated.
The Zinc division of Vedanta operates VR-based winder training simulators in India which duplicate material and workforce travel shafts to enhance employee training. The company has developed a virtual reality system for underground vehicles that trains staff members about safe mining vehicle operation.
The company uses drones during aluminum operations to conduct pre-extraction inspections which enhance efficiency together with safety measures. The oil and gas segment of Vedanta has deployed an AI-based safety surveillance system which utilizes strategically positioned AI cameras to lower manual labor needs by 80 percent thereby strengthening its safety measures.
Vedanta deepens its innovative efforts by teaming up with Jarsh Safety which attended Shark Tank India to create smart workplace safety equipment. These workplace wearable’s designed by Vedanta serve two purposes: heat stress reduction and improved connections within industrial settings. This development supports Vedanta’s safety initiatives. Such technological developments at Vedanta establish modern benchmarks for industrial safety and productivity standards.
